Steven L. Stemerman

Steve joined Davis, Cowell & Bowe in 1975 and has been a partner since 1980, specializing in labor, employment and trust fund matters. He has represented clients before state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals as well as in hundreds of private arbitrations.

He was lead counsel in the only class action wrongful termination case ever certified in California. Steve has mediated settlements in class action discrimination and wage and hour cases, each in excess of a $100 million.

Steve has extensive experience in labor negotiations. He is counsel to numerous employee benefit funds throughout the United States
